Ellipter UI

Today we are releasing the second version of Ellipter, our .NET licensing library.
This is the first major update since the first release 5 years ago and brings you some important new features:
Let's discuss these features in a bit more detail . . .
As you may already know, Ellipter is based on elliptic curves asymmetric cryptography, which supports custom key lengths. When we released the first version 5 years ago, the 112-bit key length we selected was reasonably strong for the computing capabilities of that time.
Now that GPU and cloud computing is accessible and cheap, we felt it was time to improve and let you decide what best fits your product. So, we have added the ability to select a key strength of between 128 and 521 bits.
Ellipter 1.x uses 16-bit CRC calculation, but in many cases this is simply no longer good enough. Now, you can select and use a 32-bit implementation.
With Windows 8, Microsoft will release its latest version of .NET Framework, 4.5, which will include some important new features. Making Ellipter fully compatible with the new version was a no-brainer decision for us.
Unity 3D is a game development tool that has been designed to let you focus on creating amazing games. Ellipter 2.0 handles the licensing aspects and helps you focus even more.
We've made some minor changes to the API to make it cleaner and more logical, but most of the code remains the same. And what is more important is that the serials generated with Ellipter 1.x can be correctly verified with Ellipter 2.0, so you can start using the second version right now and still keep your existing serials base.
We are running a promotion, offering 25% discount to all existing customers who migrate their licensing over to any edition of Ellipter 2.0. To take advantage of the discount, please check your registration email inbox for our newsletter, or just contact us.
